I’m Salil Timalsina, a UI/UX interaction designer in Nepal.
I take on messy, complex spaces and make them clearer and more human. Most of my time goes into the tiny decisions that make an interface feel obvious.
What I work on
Product design, design systems, and the sites that sell them.
I design whole products end to end: research, information architecture, every screen, and the design system underneath. The work so far spans AI platforms, call centre software, supply chain, fintech, e-commerce and music marketplaces. I also design and build marketing sites and landing pages myself.

How I work
Experiment early, shape the story, design in systems.
I experiment to learn. Weird directions, quick prototypes and small tests are how I learn fast, de-risk the big calls and find the version that works for real people.
I spend most of my time shaping the story. I start by understanding who I’m helping, what they’re wrestling with, and why it matters right now. I use AI to explore context and patterns fast, then slow down to decide what actually matters.
I design in systems, not one-off screens. My engineering background means I see patterns, edge cases and long-term maintenance, so developers get handoffs where spacing, states and edge cases are already decided.
